Monica Garvey (b. 1984) is a visual and ceramic artist.
Her paintings and clay work are influenced by the thin places around Lake Michigan, Northern New Mexico, and the Southwest of Ireland.
Garvey studied writing and literature at Saint Mary’s College at Notre Dame, Indiana, and has an M.Phil in writing from Trinity College, Dublin.
She lives in Indiana with her partner, Rob, a Wolfhound named Grandpa, and Max, the wise old Rottweiler.
